Indications Pain in the shoulder blade, swelling in the shoulder joint, pain and scleroses in the neck and withers, cough, dyspnea.

Localization Cranial to SI-14 in the prescapular groove, lateral to the lower edge of the seventh cervical vertebra.

Technique To a depth of about 1.5 Cun; perpendicular insertion.

Effect Moves qi along the course of the channel, clears heat, supports the ears, neck, and voice.

Indications Neck pain, pain and scleroses in the withers, torticollis, swelling in the flews, struma, sudden loss of voice or deafness.

Localization On the dorsal edge of the mastoid part of the cleidocephalicus muscle between the transverse processes of the second and third cervical vertebrae.

Technique To a depth of about 1 Cun; perpendicular insertion.
